Medicine is a male dominated profession where women are seen as doing the more “feminine” placements such as working with kids or other females. Because of this, women have felt the need to overwork themselves to even be on the same level as men in healthcare. Together, as future women in healthcare, we will support and empower one another to surpass stereotypes and prejudices.
